Today we started the business Butter Thief Bakery! We initiated the incorporation process, launched our website to the public and began to promote it. Butter Thief Bakery is a vegan organic bakery offering American cookie favorites and Italian cookie classics for online ordering and shipping worldwide. Our goal is to open for business by November 2016.
Butter Thief Bakery is two bakeries in one, or maybe three. The primary plan is for an online store selling cookies and shipping them everywhere. We will offer American classics and Italian classic cookies. If we can figure out how to ship any Italian pastries we will. We will not mass produce low quality cookies found in boxes in stores and low end bakeries that buy their cookies from big manufacturers. We bake gourmet high quality cookies. Everything is vegan and organic as far as possible. We will offer monthly subscriptions as well as order whatever you like.
Then there is the local storefront bakery café. This is fun. The atmosphere will be warm, inviting, comfortable, and clean. Free Wi-Fi, excellent low music, library, nooks, booths, dinner type counter, table and chairs, couches, etc. We offer a dozen varieties of vegan pies, several cakes, lots of cookies, Italian pastries, coffees, teas, smoothies, etc.
On top of all that you can order awesome vegetarian sandwiches on fresh baked bread. We may even have soup and salad to go with it.
This name comes to us from an ancient story from India. According to the scriptures/histories of India God delegated all his responsibilities to thirty-three million demigods and went off to enjoy various pastimes with his closest associates. In his favorite pastime he takes birth on earth as Krishna in a small village called Vrindavan. One of the sweetest earthly pastimes is as a little boy where Krishna steals butter from the neighbor's butter pots. Sometimes Krishna brings His friends and shares with them and sometimes He shares with the monkeys. But He always brings unlimited joy to the hearts of those He steals from. The ladies meditate on Krishna while they churn their butter and He is attracted by their love to come and steal their butter and their hearts. When they catch Him they lovingly scold him and bring Him to His mother, Yasoda.
